Flurbiprofen 0.03% + HPMC is an ophthalmic medicine primarily used in the treatment of bacterial eye infections. An eye infection occurs when bacteria invade any part of the eyeball or its surrounding tissues, including the cornea and the thin membrane lining the outer eye and inner eyelids commonly known as the conjunctiva. Symptoms of eye infections may include red eyes, pain, and swelling of the eye, watery eyes, and blurry vision. This drug is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that prevents the formation of chemical messengers called prostaglandins that cause pain, redness, and swelling at the injured or damaged sites or helps kill bacteria by preventing the synthesis of enzymes essential for the growth and survival of the bacterial cell.

Uses of Flurbiprofen 0.03% + HPMC:

Before an operation, to help prevent the pupil from becoming smaller during surgery or after eye surgery, laser treatment is to erase pain and discomfort. • Close your eyes for 2 or 3 minutes with your head tip down, without blinking your eyes, and gently press your finger to the inside corner of the eyes to keep liquid from the drain into your tear duct.
• If using Flurbiprofen 0.03% + HPMC after single-eye surgery, use the drops only in the eyes and wait at least 10 minutes before using any other eye drops as prescribed by your doctor.

Precautions:

• Use this medication with caution due to the increased risk of corneal damage, especially if used for a longer period of time and in a higher dose.
• It may cause blurred vision or other vision changes in individuals. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after using these drops.
• This is not recommended for use in children less than 10 years of age or as a safety.

Storage:
