Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, Phenylephrine HCI, Cetirizine Hyd and Caffeine Tablets – Celmol-Plus is a medication used to treat typical cold symptoms. It eases symptoms of a common cold such as runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, and nasal congestion or stuffiness. Additionally, it prevents the release of specific molecules that are responsible for cold-related discomfort, fever, and inflammation.
Aceclofenac, Paracetamol, Phenylephrine HCI, Cetirizine Hyd, and caffeine are all present in the tablet. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication that reduces pain and inflammation by preventing the production of specific chemical messengers. The analgesic and antipyretic drug paracetamol act by preventing the release of specific chemical messengers that induce pain and fever.
By constricting the tiny blood vessels, the decongestant phenylephrine HCL temporarily relieves inflammation and discomfort. The antihistaminic drug cetirizine hyd reduces allergy symptoms including itchiness, swelling, and rashes by preventing the body’s natural histamine messenger from doing its job. As a stimulant, caffeine blocks the effects of some natural compounds (adenosine and phosphodiesterase).
