Description
Dorzolamide + Timolol Eye Drops Uses
Dorzolamide+Timolol Eye Drop is a medication formulation used to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It reduces the production of fluid (aqueous humour) in the eye, thus relieving eye pressure. This alleviates the symptoms. Dorzolamide + Timolol Eye Drop can only be used in the affected eye. It is prescribed to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
- Treating high pressure inside the eye in conditions such as glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
- Effective at reducing the amount of fluid produced in the eye and increasing its drainage.
- Conveniently fixed combination therapy – Dorzolamide is often combined with beta-blockers like timolol, reducing the need for multiple eye drops.
- Improved efficacy in patients for whom dorzolamide or timolol alone is insufficient.
- May help prevent vision loss associated with high eye pressure.
- May lower the risk of developing nerve damage and other complications associated with glaucoma.
